On arrival in South Goa check into Bogmalo Beach Resort .Have an evening to yourselves or stroll on the beach. Chill out at the beach shacks.
"Day 2: SOUTH GOA TOUR
After Breakfast check out from the South Goa Hotel and depart at around 9.30am.
Places covered:
1. COLVA BEACH: Famous as the longest beach in Goa, Colva beach is the most popular beach in South Goa. The beach provides plenty of opportunities for shell collectors.
2. DONA PAULA: This beach close to Panjim is well known for its water scootering facilities. A good view of the Marmagao harbor can be had from here.
3. MIRAMAR BEACH: Located at Panjim, Goa’s capital on the banks of the river Mandovi this is a regular spot for people of in and around Panaji.
4. MANGUESHI TEMPLE: This temple is a must visit for tourists. This temple is more than 400 years old.
5. SHANTADURGA TEMPLE: Located at Kavlem in Ponda taluka this temple is dedicated to Shantadurga, the goddess of peace. It is one of the richest in Goa.
6. HERITAGE MONUMENTS AT OLD GOA: The sacred relics of the patron saint of Goa St. Francis Xavier are kept here. Se Cathedral – This is the largest cathedral in Asia. The Se Cathedral has five bells out of which one is the famous Golden Bell which is one of the largest in the world.
7.RIVER CRUISE ALONG MANDOVI RIVER (OPTIONAL): Cruise along the river Mandovi at Sunset and at the same time you can take a glimpse of Goa’s varied culture. 8.CALANGUTE BEACH: Calangute Beach, Known as the queen ofGoa’s beaches. "Day 3: NORTH GOA TOUR: After Breakfast Depart for North Goa Tour at 9.30am, Places covered: 1.ANJUNA BEACH: It is a very popular beach among foreign tourists and among the important beaches of Goa. Nowadays more popular for its flea market every Wednesday.
2. VAGATOR BEACH: Vagator beach with cracked rocks surrounding the beach makes it an irresistible sight for the visitor. 3.MAPUSA TOWN: Located at Mapusa, it is well known for its weekly Fridaybazaar where once can buy an extremely wide variety of items ranging from pottery, plants, decorative items, vegetables and so forth.
4. TEMPLE OF LORD BODGESHWAR : Located at Mapusa, this temple is one of the important temples in North Goa.
5. THE CHURCH OF MAE DE DEUS AT SALIGAO: This church is a fine example of gothic architure.
6. FORT AGUADA : The fort was on of the most important places in Goa and the most crucial of all forts in Goa. Today it is being used as a jail. It was built by the Portuguese Government in 1612.
